Woke up at 9:30 pm, 1120, 230, and 630. So let’s just say that I’m taking benadryl to sleep tonight.

Got off to a good start with a long morning wander, lost track of the time and almost missed my cemetary tour. Highgate cemetary is one of 7 very special cemetaries in London. The guide was very friendly and informative.

After lunch I was delighted to discover that my cell plan includes really shitty data and cheap international calls. Cell plans have gotten better over the years.

After a rest I walked around the Kensington and Nottington areas. Found a thrift shop and a lot of people to watch.

Kensington palace was underwhelming. I think someone lives there because you can’t get anywhere near. Embassy row nearby was much neater. No pictures of course. Lots of police presence because of the Russian situation.

Back to the hostel for leftover groceries and talkative roommates.

There’s a few Loonngg term residents here. You get to see how they creep on the female backpackers and it’s kinda funny, kinda not.

I am so tired I’m seeing through time.

Nice afternoon walking around though. I managed to stay awake until 6. Hooray!

For those interested in such things, this is the first little batch of groceries that I bought. Very reasonable for a busy metro area.

Update: I got enough sleep to not turn into a three year old. Those that have traveled with me will appreciate what that means.

I went to an amazing estate sale today. The old gal had obviously traveled a lot, had my exact taste in tchotchkes (not too many) and had so many amazing books. I want to be this old lady eventually.

Nice sunny day to fart around town looking at used crap. Picked up Charisma and we had chicken nuggets and coloring time.

Life is good.
