My official pilgrimage is over…

It felt so strange not to get up and walk all day. I’m sure the feeling will pass lol.

Steps taken April 4 to May 6: 1,276,831

Miles: 567 (seems high, I may have mathed wrong)

Blisters: 3

Many pairs of earplugs lost

One eye mask lost

One charging cord and plug lost

One sleeping bag liner lost

One lace hanky lost

One water bottle lost

5 bedbug bites

About 65 cups of coffee consumed

Pints of ice cream eaten: only one

Abandoned: two bottles shampoo, one pair gloves, one pair walking poles, uneaten food, one pair leggings

Purchased in Spain: gloves, pants, walking poles, pocket knife, one souvenir coin, outfit to sleep in

Money spent on accommodation: no idea

Money spent on food: no idea

Muxia is an old fishing village that has become a destination by accident
We were lucky today with the weather
Calla lillies cover the hillsides here

  1. Amazing! We walked 12 miles one day on this last vacation and my body was done! I recovered quickly, but I couldn’t do the amount of walking you completed. Kudos!
