Day 31 ending in Olveiroa

No rain today, but the clouds stayed around to cool me while I walked for 8 hours, which I appreciated.

Sure is different now on the path. Just a few of us left, but I’m still seeing a few familiar faces here and there.

Another longish day tomorrow for my arrival in Finisterre. I look forward to seeing the coastline.

Day 30 ending in Negreira

It’s great to be back walking the trail. The weather turned out very nice, and I even got a little overheated because of the humidity. We are definitely getting closer to the ocean.

I was a little worried about the waymarking, but there are shells and other pilgrims to follow

I used to eat these flowers for some reason. Looking back, this explains a lot. Mom told me that some flowers are edible, I guess.

My company on the road today was sure different than two days ago. Just a few of us, and all the Spaniards have gone home from their long holiday weekend. Fairly quiet and very peaceful again.
