A few observations…

• There are many lamp stores here
• There’s a delightful lack of dog crap on the sidewalks 
• People are a lot friendlier than I’d imagined
• It’s warmer and sunnier than I could have dreamed of
• The air here is fantastic 
• Not everything is overpriced
• The biggest city in Scandinavia is way more walkable than I thought, haven’t had to even ride the metro yet
• Fresh, healthy food is everywhere 
• The coffee is pretty good 
• My hostel bed is very comfortable, and the price is reasonable 

Yes, I’m having trouble finding anything to complain about lol.

I enjoyed you, but….I need to see other cities now. 

In other news, Gothenburg has a surprisingly good selection of museums. Thank goodness, or else I would have been forced to eat snacks and watch Netflix all day!

It’s nice, but smallish.

Today, since the museums were closed, I took a early ferry to some small islands close to the city. Very slow time of year, apparently. I was solo on the paths and streets. I saw some quail so that was cool

When my coffee headache wouldn’t leave me alone, I headed back into the city for some lunch and a second hand store. You know and I know it’s all just someone’s old junk, but it’s Swedish junk lol. Found some neat old Marvel comic books.

The botanical gardens are free and nearby so that seemed like the right decision for me for my afternoon walk. It was. So lovely and sunny, and so well laid out. 

Laundry and an evening walk brings me to now.

So ready for bed!
