Spent most of today on the couch feeling weird and depressed. Got my steps in, at the mall.

It’s 8 and I’m still awake. Success?

Anyway we saw mom today. She was hallucinating the entire time. I hope it’s not too scary. My heart hurt to watch it but I’m assured by experts that she’s ok when this happens. It fucking sucked to see it though.

Had a pleasant afternoon with Lora at the library book sale and chatting over tea. The sale is always hilarious because I can remember well the years that I went with mom and how long, so so long, we stayed. She loved books. Still does, probably.

Fed my thrift store obsession with several fine purchases and a very nice new rain jacket for my trip to Argentina. It’ll pack really well. Hemmed some pants.

Managed to stay up until 8. This is progress.

Once again I fell asleep way too early. Now it’s 3 am and I’m up. This is dumb.

On another note, Friday was good. Got all my chores done and the weekend is free to do whatever. Restarting keto on Saturday.

I’m astonished to report that despite treating my body as a trash can on vacation, I lost 2 pounds. All that walking was good for something. Man, I’m gonna miss those 39 cent Lidl cookies. Sigh.
