Tried not to spend any money today. It’s easy when there’s so much to see. Just bought some food and coffee.

I don’t even know how many churches I visited. I stopped taking pictures after a while. Lots of times people were praying and it’s weird to do that.

Had a nice dinner and conversation with someone, then some trivia. We lost

Back in Rome and man, I’ve been spoiled by assisi and how Clean it was. Rome is just as chaotic and crowded as ever. Still cool, tho. I’ll enjoy seeing the sights.

Got my laundry done. Finally. I’ve been wearing “clean” clothes for 2 weeks. And by that I mean, not at all clean.

Nice second day in Assisi. Saw the last of my things to see and got a long pointless walk in.

Off to Rome in the morning. I’ve not much planned. It’ll be my 4th time so I’ve seen a lot of the normal tourist stuff. Still looking forward to it, then going home on the 20th.

What an actually magical day. The weather is great, my allergies have calmed down a little, I’m learning a lot, and really enjoying the relaxed pace of this little city.

The walking tour happened and was great. I spent more than I ever have on a “free” tour but the guy was amazing. 3 nonstop hours of trivia, opinions, facts, and whatnot. The dude’s probably quite religious but didn’t preach.

Would highly recommend Assisi to almost anyone with a day or two. Lots to think about.
