Thursday special
Whats up in Amersham…
Not a lot, and Google maps took me through a cowshit footpath to tell me this
Hahahahaha
Edit: OK I take it back. Amersham is adorable. There’s a nice footpath, a cute historical street, a nice little war memorial garden, and a tesco superstore to get a little picnic at. My bad.
March 16th
Well I gave up not getting starbucks. It was so good. I mean, it did the job.
Killed some time walking around the edge of The City before a museum. It was interesting. I was the only one looking at one thousand year old history: everyone else was just getting to work.
Just walking around in circles in London is cool enough, in the actual city is unbelievable. If the big fire in 1666 hadn’t happened…damn. who knows what we might have today.
I saw what was left of the Romans. They really weren’t here for very long. And a lot got chewed up in the 1800, so I’m glad we got what we got.
Today was kinda crappy and rainy so I called it quits at 3. Tomorrow promises sun and 61 degrees. I’m taking the tube to the end and we’ll see what’s there.
March 15
Today’s activities were: avoid creeps, go for long walks, and look at stuff. Success!!!
Spent time walking around the West end before a walking tour. It hasn’t changed a bit. Still incredibly bougie lol.
We ended up at westminster abbey. The most exciting thing about this is, there’s a kebab place nearby that is off the chain. So I had a coma inducing lunch. So good.
Had a nice walk to a modern art museum. It was just ok. No giant vagina couches or anything like that. Semi disappointing.
That’s it for today. My feet are tired and I’m resting for a busy day tomorrow
Night, all
