My only activity today was meeting with the guy who’s going to take some of mom’s cremains and make some glass mementos. I wanted marbles but he said his look crappy, and could we do something else?

Why not. He said what he made would be as good as he could make. So we will see.

Read a lot today.

Had kind of a hard one today. Took two long walks and slept for a long time this afternoon.

A Dr appointment today. Worked on the rug project and got a walk in. Wasn’t supposed to but I only feel tired.

The beginning of fall is here for a few minutes each day. Those minutes are amazing. The nights are cool and the mornings freaking rock.

Started a new project today. Going to take what clothes of mom’s are too stained to donate and make a rag rug. It’ll be crappy but I look forward to being busy.

Wonderful home cooked meal at Rebecca’s house tonight. So nice to sit and visit. Talking about mom is bittersweet. She’s known us for years so we laughed about the old days a lot.

In one afternoon I aggravated my carpal tunnel badly. Boooo. I’ll have to wear my braces tonight.
