Small get together at the cemetary to place mom’s ashes. It was nice and easy, more of us got to share and laugh and tell a few stories.

Went out for a meal, and drove to the beach to kill some time. Nice.

I was exhausted and got gavin to take gunner to the airport. His flight was delayed 3 times. He might not still be home lol. Was good to see him.

Mom’s service was today. It looked great. I was hoping for more people but the folks that came did a great job remembering mom and laughing and sharing.

I wished that I was more eloquent when I went up to remember but it was what it was; from the heart.

Got the glass pieces back from the artist already. He was motivated or something. Each one has a tiny bit of ashes in it.

Made a bunch of little envelopes with Charisma for these mementos that I’ll be handing out on Sunday. It was a fun project to do and we used the new art supplies I bought last week.

Aug 26th

Had a good morning helping dad clean up the house a little. He’s expecting company maybe this weekend.

Went to the bank and closed out a couple of accounts. In a month or so things will be settled there.

Went to the art museum. Was really nice looking at the newest exhibit. It’s a Chinese gal and it’s pretty great.

Did bad at trivia tonight. The smarter people were out in force. Got smoked.
