One last long walk before I’m off to Italy for a month. Tonight it was really nice out. Sunny and warm. Lovely.

I’m ready to go. I’ve done most of what I needed to do with dad. The rest can wait until winter.

Typically low key Sunday. Got my walk in.

It’s the weekend so I’m not doing anything but cleaning my place, eating up any food that will expire, and repacking my backpack. I’m trying not to take too much, as usual.

Lunch with Allisa. Very pleasant. We ate a scotch egg and about a third of this generally dissatisfying donut.

Also I bought more sewing supplies that I absolutely did not need at the assistance league.

So I got a text that a flight segment for my trip was canceled. 3 hours on hold later, it’s all worked out but damn….when I bought the tickets in January I thought that the combination of pricing and layovers was too good to be true. It was. I may not fly with klm again. This is the third time I’ve had a last minute issue.

First world problems I know.

Anyhoo got into the courthouse and got done and helped very efficiently and quickly. Great. Now to finish the paperwork on Monday and be done.

Met with rhiannon and had a hairy discussion about serious stuff. I’m making her my main beneficiary for my estate, with exceptions. Hopefully she will make good decisions. I’d like it all to be used to benefit my family. Also she’s refused to kill me if and when I become a vegetable. I guess I’ll make that will and medical directive after all.
