I’m so glad that I had such a busy day yesterday in the sun. Today was cold, and I didn’t get much sightseeing done.

Just a morning walk with a tour group, a late lunch at the hostel, and a nap. Finally warm again by 5, I went out again to try and at least get another walk in. 

So I’ll have lots to do tomorrow before I go off to Helsinki on Sunday

A few observations…

• There are many lamp stores here
• There’s a delightful lack of dog crap on the sidewalks 
• People are a lot friendlier than I’d imagined
• It’s warmer and sunnier than I could have dreamed of
• The air here is fantastic 
• Not everything is overpriced
• The biggest city in Scandinavia is way more walkable than I thought, haven’t had to even ride the metro yet
• Fresh, healthy food is everywhere 
• The coffee is pretty good 
• My hostel bed is very comfortable, and the price is reasonable 

Yes, I’m having trouble finding anything to complain about lol.

I enjoyed you, but….I need to see other cities now. 

In other news, Gothenburg has a surprisingly good selection of museums. Thank goodness, or else I would have been forced to eat snacks and watch Netflix all day!
