Friday’s activity was helping at a garage sale. Not very exciting but I did get to talk to a bunch of strangers so that was fun.

Then to the ice cream parlor for sundaes with my adorable nieces.

My angel Charisma was kind of a beast lol. She was grouchy and pulled her sister’s hair just for fun. It’s an absolute delight to see her being a normal child. Sorry about the hair pulling, Clarissa, but after all my worry about her DS, she’s a kid after all.

I’m grateful

I can’t remember much of yesterday, must have been very relaxed lol

I remember a yummy lunch at the ramen place, then spending lots of time on a computer…

Oh, the photos. Right. I had fun posting old pics on the interwebs and remembering old times.

It was good to finish the photo project until I remembered about another box of pictures in the closet

I had a nice sleep in and lots of coffee.

Then out to dad’s house for some visiting and working on the photo project. He’s started doing his electronics hobby again and taught me some about chatting batteries.

After some lunch I went to see mom for the first time since June. I’ve been calling and sending mail several times a week, but thought that maybe I could emotionally handle seeing her.

It was hard. She was having an off day, and I was glad to be wearing a mask. That way I could cry without her noticing at all. After more tears in the car, I went home to continue the movie marathon.

Kind of a mixed up day, dealing with the suckiness of my emotions. They are soooooo troublesome lol

Nice day in the end, a beautiful day in Oregon as it always seems to be in August.
