Tuesdays with Froggy

My travel story continues today with a trip to Beipu, a small town in Hsinchu county. Beipu is well known for its Hakka culture and special teas.

Beipu is lovely, only 10000 people, and on weekdays is almost deserted. Fine with me! Jenny and I sat at a tea house and had DIY leicha, a delicious tea-type beverage.

After that, a walk, and then a high- speed train back to Taipei.

A chinese opera in the park was neat. I sure do love the arts!

To end the day, a walking tour of the Longshan temple area

Of course there were some temples in there.

Here’s todays pictures
